Please join MathWorks at this upcoming session. You will get a brief overview of MATLAB, Simulink and the MathWorks Minidrone Competition. You are highly encouraged to join the session if you are a participant of the MathWorks Minidrone Competitions.
After the quick overview, we will have breakout sessions for live Q&A. MathWorks engineers will be available for live Q&A sessions where attendees can ask questions in English or Japanese.
About the Presenter
Daisuke Akasaka is a senior team leader of Application Engineering Group at MathWorks Japan. He is currently working with prospective customers to uncover and overcome their technical and business challenges with Model-Based Design across a range of industry, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Development teams. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in engineering all from Chiba University. His area of expertise includes control engineering. He focused on nonlinear feedback control theory in his research.
Mikio Muramatsu is a customer success engineer at MathWorks Japan. He is working to support educators, researchers, and their institutions achieve success in their teaching, research, learning and organizational goals through technical engagements. He was also a technical lead for Minidrone Competition - Japan 2021. He received bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from Waseda University. And, he has industry experience covered new technology and product development utilized simulation and implementation such as Model-Based Design. His area of expertise includes Acoustics and Signal Processing.
Maitreyee Mordekar is a senior technical evangelist at MathWorks India. She is working on developing and scaling the MathWorks Minidrone Competitions to help students understand Model-Based Design to get them industry-ready. She also focuses on working with student teams in the adoption of MATLAB® and Simulink® in robotics competitions.
Maitreyee has completed her master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay with a specialization in Signal Processing and Communication Engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Goa College of Engineering.
