The MathWorks® and B. I. E. T., Davangere in collaboration with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi is organizing a webinar series focused on enhancing the understanding of MATLAB® and Simulink® applications in Chemical and Food Processing Engineering. The series targets faculty, students and researchers, aiming to increase awareness of MATLAB's usage and industry applications in these fields. It will also talk about the latest developments happening where Chemical Engineers are effectively using AI and Digital Technologies to innovate.

About the Presenter

Dr. Aycan Hacioglu:
is the Academic Discipline Manager for Chemical Engineering at MathWorks. With a B.S. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, she previously taught at the University of Missouri's Chemical Engineering Department for over three years, heavily utilizing MATLAB in her teaching and research. Aycan is eager to share her insights and enthusiasm for applying MathWorks products to chemical engineering challenges.

Dr. Deb Singdeo:
PhD works as Senior Engineer in the Education Team at MathWorks India Private Limited (Bangalore). His expertise lies in Model Based System Engineering workflows for Electrification applications. Dr. Singdeo has an interdisciplinary background with Bachelor’s in Physics (Hons.), followed by MSc-PhD degree from the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay. In previous roles, he has also worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark and faculty at Tezpur University, Assam

Mr. Subhajit Goswami:
Serving as a Senior Education Customer Success Specialist at MathWorks. With a rich background spanning 10 years in customer-facing roles within the software industry, Specialized training, product demonstration, adoption strategies, awareness campaigns, customer support, and technical problem-solving. Subhajit holds an MBA in Marketing and IT from Bangalore University, a foundation that enriches my approach to customer success. At MathWorks, my current focus involves advocating and supporting users of MATLAB and Simulink through the Campus-Wide License Program. I'm passionate about partnering with universities nationwide, ensuring seamless access and empowering the next generation of innovators
