Compiling high-level languages like Simulink and MATLAB to efficiently run on high-performance, parallel computing platforms like multi-cores and GPUs poses numerous challenges. Join us in solving these problems and changing the way we program such devices. We are seeking an energetic graduate student to work in a high-energy product development team.

You will be expected to participate with enthusiasm in all phases of our planning, development, testing of parallelizing compiler technology. You will join a small, high-energy team focused on delivering world-class tools to the industry.

Responsibilities

The enginneer will be expected to design, architect, implement and test new parallel compilation technologies to enable algorithms written in Simulink and MATLAB to efficiently execute on parallel computing platforms. Specifically, the engineer will be involved in all phases of product development:

* Develop new partitioning, scheduling and resource allocation algorithms for parallel compilation

* Prototype execution on parallel hardware platforms

* Design the software architecture

* Implement the idea in C++ and MATLAB

* Test and integrate the features in to Simulink and code generation products

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise with C++
  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

Experience with compiler development is a huge plus. 

Parallel programming, e.g - OpenCL/CUDA

Curiosity in debugging, understanding, and improving code
