Job Summary
MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software, is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to drive the adoption of MATLAB and Simulink in the Korea market. You will architect and execute end-to-end digital marketing strategies that engage both commercial and academic audiences, from engineers and scientists to students and researchers, to build product awareness and generate a high-quality pipeline.
A secondary function of this role involves supporting the broader education (EDU) marketing strategy through targeted digital campaigns and event execution for the academic community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the integrated digital marketing strategy for the Korea market, defining channel mix, budget, and KPIs; execute end-to-end campaigns across local (Naver, Blind, Remember) and global platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) to drive both brand awareness and demand generation.
- Manage the local YouTube channel, growing subscribers and brand visibility through strategic content creation, platform optimization, and performance analysis.
- Drive education marketing initiatives to support academic adoption through digital campaigns, student competitions, webinars and conferences, etc.
- Continuously optimize inbound performance and budget allocation through A/B testing and data analysis to improve conversions and lower acquisition costs.
- Collaborate with technical team and creative service team to localize global strategies and produce compelling, market-specific assets.
- Analyze cross-channel data to report on effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
- Stay current with the latest digital marketing tools, platform updates, and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Based on team growth, this role may expand to include a leadership opportunity to oversee task execution and resource allocation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with inbound marketing
- Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in Korea.
Additional Qualifications
- BA/BS required. Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing large-scale digital marketing campaigns, with a proven track record in B2B marketing.
- Experience in team lead or supervisory capacity, with responsibility for task oversight, resource allocation, and performance management.
- Direct experience with Naver, Blind, Remember are required. Demonstrated expertise in managing paid campaigns on Google Ads (Search, Display, Video), YouTube, Linked-in and Facebook.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with SEO/SEM strategies and landing page optimization best practices.
- Excellent English communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and present complex data to cross-functional teams and management.
- Familiarity with marketing to a technical or engineering audience is highly desirable.
