Core Values
The core values of MathWorks are essential and enduring principles that drive our success. They remain consistent over time, unaffected by trends or changes in the market.
We value personal growth and accountability, celebrate what makes each of us unique, encourage initiative and creativity, and place a high importance on teamwork. We also strive to create an enjoyable, vibrant, participatory, and rational work environment where employees can learn from one another and grow together.
With curiosity about the world and a passion for lifelong learning, we offer a variety of programs to support continuous self-development. MathWorks employees can regularly meet one on one with their managers to identify and participate in internal and external training programs to acquire new skills. In addition, all are encouraged to take part in employee-led study groups, product training, and various company-wide projects, regardless of their role or position.
My journey at MathWorks has been powerful and personal. I learn something new every day—working with customers, sharing ideas with global teammates, and growing through real collaboration.
What makes this place special is how much it respects not just my work but my life. Honest conversations with leaders have helped me find direction, and working with supportive colleagues has opened new doors. MathWorks is where people grow together, with purpose and heart.

Office Culture
Communication among employees is essential for a comfortable and dynamic work environment. MathWorks has adopted a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work in the office three days a week and remotely for the remaining two days.
On in-office days, breakfast and snacks are provided in common areas, creating opportunities for casual conversations and natural interaction among employees. Even while working remotely, employees are encouraged to engage in conversations with colleagues from other departments to maintain connections.
To foster camaraderie and strengthen team bonds, we hold company-wide events every year, including the Korea Office Summer Outing and a year-end party. In addition, small groups regularly participate in team-building activities such as attending baseball games, enjoying barbecues, and volunteering for community service. During a recent event, employees prepared kimchi for those in need.
