SIAM Financial Mathematics & Engineering Student Programming Competition

The main focus of quantitative and data science roles in the finance industry is to implement research in a real-world context. The ability to apply such research to real-world problems requires modern computational and data science skill sets. SIAM’s programing challenges provide the opportunity for students to showcase their ability to work collaboratively, broaden their exposure to real-world financial modeling problems, and enhance their technical skills to gain more visibility with employers. The winning team will present their solution at the SIAM FME 2021 conference.
