Develop and Test Vehicle Controllers for ADAS and Automated Driving Applications through System Simulation
When developing and testing sensor fusion algorithms and vehicle controllers for ADAS and automated driving applications, engineers need to consider the complex interplay between multiple sensors and dynamics of the vehicle, while the vehicle operates in a wide variety of scenarios, many of which may not have been available in recorded data during development. With multidomain system modeling and simulation-based testing in MATLAB® and Simulink®, you can close the loop in simulation, thus accelerating the development process and reducing costly and hazardous in-vehicle testing.
In this talk, you will learn how to:
- Design model predictive control-based vehicle controllers
- Create synthetic scenarios and test sensor fusion and control algorithms using system simulation
- Improve simulation fidelity with gaming engine integration, vehicle dynamics modeling, and automated scenario creation from recorded data
