External mode

To run your model in the External mode with serial communication, use the serial option.

Communication interface

To run your model in the External mode with serial communication, use the ‘serial’ option.

Serial port

Enter the serial port used by the target hardware.

Baudrate

Specify the baudrate for external mode communication.

Logging buffer size (in bytes)

Specify the logging buffer size.

Use a dedicated timer to improve time stamp accuracy

Enable the parameter to use a dedicated timer to improve the time stamp accuracy.

Note

This parameter is available only for hardware board which uses 32-bit timer for logging simulation time during Monitor and Tune (external mode simulation).

Verbose

Select this check box to view the External mode execution progress and updates in the Diagnostic Viewer or in the MATLAB Command Window.
