How do I use MATLAB licenses or products that are out of maintenance or discontinued?

I have products on my MATLAB license that have been discontinued and/or are out of maintenance. Can I still obtain a license file for these specific products? How do I do this?

If MATLAB or other toolboxes fall out of maintenance and you have a perpetual license, you can continue to use the products at the releases they are licensed through. With Individual and Designated Computer licenses, old product seats are automatically included in your license file.
If you have a Concurrent or Network Named User license and only allow some of the keys to fall out of maintenance, you may need to contact MathWorks customer support to obtain a custom license file that has an accurate count of licenses at each release. If you need a license file like this, contact the MathWorks customer service team and provide the following information:
