inverse of a toeplitz matrix

Dear all,
Could you please verify that the inverse of a toeplitz matrix is
Om=2.^(0:(6));
Omega=toeplitz(Om)
Omegainv=inv(Omega)

What makes you question the matrices this produces? The output of 'toeplitz', Omega, is obviously correct. and if you multiply this output by Omegainv it gives back the identity matrix. What is the problem?
