License will still running if I change my laptop?

Hello!

I have a matlab student license! i wonder to buy a new laptop. I will reinstall matlab on it. Will the license still running on the other laptop? or once it is registred on an IP it can't run on another?

Use the instructions in this Answers post to deactivate the license on the old laptop then install and activate the license on the new laptop.
