Common KVA base for machines of different.

In my simulink model i intend to use two synchronous machines of different ratings (synchronous machine salient pole standard). I have the data sheet, in which impedance values (in pu) are given on the specific machine KVA and voltage base. Can i use those values directly in the model or i am suppose to convert the in a single common base values for the complete model.

Hello Shagun,

you specify the power and voltage rating for each motor seperately, so you do not need to convert to a common pu base.
