Model predictive control (MPC) for MIMO system on real hardware in simulink

Hi,

I want to control my MIMO (2x2) system using 'model predictive control' on the hardware in "Real time". My system is a bit complicated to model, so I do Not have plant model. Can I control my MIMO system on real hardware using SIMULINK without having a model ?

If yes, then please let me know the way. Any guidance will be deeply appreciated.

Unfortunately, you cannot use Simulink models as prediction models for MPC design. The alternative would be to use data-driven models as internal prediction models in your MPC controller. For that you could use either real data from your hardware system or from your Simulink model. Here are some examples:
