Setting the Due date does not show an error when accessing past the deadline on Matlab Grader

Hi team,
So, in Blackboard Original course... when you just set the Due date for the Matlab grader assignment… then students can access the Matlab Grader assignment even past the deadline and it will show no errors… but if you add a restriction with Display until… then the MatLab Grader assignment will not display in the student’s view... Could you please clarify whether after setting the Due date should a student see an error if they were to access Matlab Grader assignment past the deadline? As I cannot seem to get the error.
Thank you
Kind regards,
Rangika

When using MATLAB Grader in an LMS (i.e. LTI integration), due dates are not passed to MATLAB Grader, and therefore have no impact on its behavior. If the LMS allows students to still access the problem, then they will be able to launch it. You need to use your LMS settings to make the problem not visible to your learners if you no longer want them to be able to launch the problem.
Typically, setting a due date in an LMS only impacts how the grade is reported to the gradebook, not visibility of the problem. And even then, you will want to verify what your LMS' behavior is with due dates. It may not do anything.
