Trojan is detected in Matlab files

Hey,

My virus program, Kaspersky, detected Trojan in Matlab files and blocked it. I added Matlab in trusted applications list but am a little afraid of what if it harm my pc and documents. Does it possible that Matlab files got some viruses or is it false detection?

My windows defender detected too and blocked the installation...

The official installer contains no malware or viruses. If you are using Defender, please update your definitions and try again. If the issue continues, I suggest reporting this to customer support.

You can also try submitting the file to your AV service as a potential false positive.
