Why does MATLAB show "Attempt to execute SCRIPT clear as a function: C:\\toolbox\matlab\general\clear.m" ?

I just installed MATLAB and when I opened it it showed
"Warning: Function pyversion has the same name as a MATLAB builtin. We suggest you rename the function to avoid a potential name conflict."
and many such warnings and also "Attempt to execute SCRIPT disp as a function: C:\\toolbox\matlab\lang\disp.m"

It seems like the Matlab installation has completely failed: If the toolbox folder of Matlab is found directly on the C-drive, try to uninstall Matlab and re-install it from scratch.
