13 views (last 30 days)
Hello I am trying to install Simscape Multibody Link Plug-In. However I get the following error:
install_addon('smlink.r2016a.win64.zip') Installing smlink... Extracting archive smlink.r2016a.win64.zip to C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2016a... Error using install_addon (line 52) Access is denied.
could you please advise me on how to complete the install.
regards
Andy

Run your MATLAB as administrator before installing the smlink

make sure you downloaded both files the' smlink.r2016a.win64.zip ' and the 'install_addon.m', you can upload the install addon file from any version, mostly it is the same. the zip file alone will not work, as well make sure you run your matlab as administrator, by using right click on the application
