Push Button to Change Variable

So I have a button on my GUI that it runs before the start of my little pong game, and I'd like to make it so it will change the variable once you click on the button, and then once you click on done in on another button it will close the GUI. So TL;DR, a button once you click on changes a variable and another one that closes the GUI so rest of the program runs. Thanks
