How can I create an open-circuit fault in Boost DC-DC converters in Simulink? It means that at t=0 (s) till t<t1 (s), the converter works well. Then at t=t1, an open-circuit fault happens. Thanks in advance.

You can use circuit breaker which can be opened thorugh its control input at a predefined time.

Thank you for your suggestion. I think I should precise that the open-circuit fault occurs in the power switch at t=t1. How can I do?

Best place to start is the MOSFET Fault in Buck Converter example in Simscape Electrical. This model shows how a fault may be applied to a MOSFET in a power converter in order to explore the operation of protection circuitry.
