Model Advisor changes/problems migrating from R2017b to R2018b

I'm migrating from R2017b to R2018b and, I noticed a couple of changes with Model Advisor:

First, the tree of available checks looks much different in Model Advisor! For example, "By Task > Model Metrics" - missing in R2018b "By Task > Modeling Standards for MAAB" - missing in R2018b "By Task > Row-major code generation - new in R2018b

Some of these are not mentioned (or not easy to find) in the Release Notes. Is there a summary of Model Advisor changes for each release?

Second, when I open R2018b and load the configuration settings I used in R2017b, I get several warnings:

Warning: Unable to locate check "mathworks.design.VariantOverride" specified by "Identify variant blocks that override variant choice" when loading configuration
C:\dev\sp\Model\Utilities\modelAdvisor\modelAdvisorConfig_2017b.mat. This might be due to a missing sl_customization.m file or toolboxes that are not installed.
> In DAStudio.warning (line 36)
  In Simulink.ModelAdvisor/loadConfiguration
  In modeladvisorutil2
  In modeladvisorprivate
  In Advisor.Manager/copySlCustomizationData
  In Simulink.ModelAdvisor/initData>loc_initTaskAdvisor
  In Simulink.ModelAdvisor/initData
  In Simulink.ModelAdvisor/init
  In Advisor.Application/updateModelAdvisorObj
  In Advisor.Application/loadConfiguration
  In Simulink.ModelAdvisor/activateConfiguration
  In ModelAdvisor.ConfigUI.openLoadDlg

A similar warning is specified for the following:

Warning: Unable to load check "mathworks.do178.hisf_0001"
Warning: Unable to locate check "mathworks.do178.himl_0005"
Warning: Unable to load check "mathworks.iec61508.hisf_0001"
Warning: Unable to locate check "mathworks.iec61508.himl_0005"
Warning: Unable to load check "mathworks.maab.jc_0061"
Warning: Unable to locate check "mathworks.design.VariantOverride"

I've searched the Release Notes (for R2018a & R2018b) using these check IDs, I but come up empty. What's the best way to find changes about Model Advisor checks? and What's the best way to migrate these checks from one version to the next?
