Hello!
My name is Jason Zawalek and I work for Health Canada in Ottawa, Canada. Our team has purchased multiple individual licenses for Matlab, but when we log into our Mathworks account, we are seeing some confusing infomation.
Firstly, my Matlab licence is #40771812. When i log into my Mathworks account, I can see this license, but I can also see a "Master License" number 31390530. I am not sure where this second license number comes from.
When my colleage (Mykola Zhuk) logs into his Mathworks account, he can see my license (40771812) as well as his own (40836464). The main page also lists a "Master License" #31434952. Again, we are not sure what this second license number means because we each had only purchased one license.
I am wondering how we might have mixed this up and what is needed to correct it. Essentially, since we have both purchased individual, standard, perpetual licenses, I would expect to only see MY license number when I log in and I would expect Mykola to only see his license number when he logs in to Mathworks. Somehow our licenses seem to be connected. . .but they should be completely separate and individual. Is there any reason why our accounts would need to be linked? I am thinking this could just be an error on our IT side.
Thank you,
Jason Zawalek
