Syms toolbox not working Matlab 2019

I am trying to use the syms toolbox to solve differential equations in Matlab 2019. Iv'e checked that I have the newest version of Matlab and the toolbox installed. Whenever I run the command, Matlab gets stuck on the syms and buffers. PLEASE help!

The symbolic toolbox does work in MATLAB r2019b. If it does not work for you, you likely have an install issue. For help with this type of issue, please contact MathWorks support. They are in the best position to help you out.
