How to solve the empty cell for the i2c address with BeagleBone Black?

Goodmorning, I have connected the Beaglebone Black to MATLAB, according with the tutorials online. It works properly, but when I execute this piece of code, it gives an empty cell in the i2c_address variable. How can I solve the issue?
clear all
bbb = beaglebone
available_buses = bbb.AvailableI2CBuses
i2c_address = scanI2CBus(bbb,'i2c-1')
