Uninstalling old versions of MATLAB

Hello,

I have recently upgraded to R2020a but my old version is still in my local disk and is occupying lots of space. Is it OK if i unistall the previous version without loosing files or having compatability issues with old MATLAB files?

Each version of MATLAB installs independent files. You can safely delete an older version. Note that if you have saved your own code files inside the MATLAB installation folder, you will need to copy those first.

I have several toolboxes installed on my MATLAB 2022b version.

I have upgraded it to 2023a version, would all toolboxes automatically be carried over?
