How do I provide access to my Campus-Wide License for users without the correct SSO attributes?

A university is using a Campus-Wide license with SSO enabled and would like temporary users to have access to MATLAB. The university does not provide the required attributes for those users. How can those users access the software?

 Accepted Answer

To allow access to MATLAB for temporary users, universities have the following two options:
1. Provide the user(s) with a university email—if they do not have one already—and configure SSO to provide the correct eduPersonScopedAffiliation value (Faculty, Staff, Student, Employee, or Member) for the user(s).
2. If it is not possible to provide a university email domain and/or provide one of the above eduPersonScopedAffiliation values, a License Administrator can manually add the users as a Licensed End User by using a non-university email address. For more information on adding Licensed End Users:
Note: Users who are manually added must also be manually removed by the License Administrators when no longer associated with the university.
