I want to use siteviewer inside a loop. However everytime I create a siteviewer object say with sv1 = siteviewer("Name",'temp') Matlab fires up the siteviewer map in a new window. I dont want to see the visualization. I just want to create the siteviewer object sv1. How can I do this?

As per my understanding, you don't want a new window popping up everytime you create a new 'siteviewer' object. I would suggest you to add 'Visible' parameter in the 'siteviewer' function and set it to 'off.For example as mentioned above, you are currently creating the object as follows:
sv1 = siteviewer("Name",'temp');
In order to close the window popping up, you can create the object as follows:
sv1 = siteviewer("Name",'temp', 'Visible','off');
This will close the window popping up automatically.
Hope this will resolve the query!
