MAtrix Indexing with a vector that contains colon

I have an 12-D Double Matrix and want to access all Elements e.g. the 4th row in the 7th dimension.
So in a static case i would use Matrix(:, :, :, :, :, :, 4; :, :, :, :, :,) but i wuold like to have more dynamic, so that it would also be posssible to get another row in another dimension.
I tried to use char, that looks in this example like A = ::::4:::::::
A_2 = num2cell(A);
Matrix(A_2{:});
This works for numbers but it seems to fail with colons.
Is there any other solution to achieve my goal?

The colons must be character, the numeric indices must be numeric (not char like you tried):
