Hello,
I would like to address following issue: I have successfully installed matlab (64bit) on Ubuntu 64bit (however, on different partition of the hard drive). When launched, I get the this error
bin/matlab: 1: exec: /media/.../Matlab/bin/glnxa64/MATLAB: Permission denied
How can I make it work, please?
Thank you very much for your answers.

I have the same problem too, and this problem not at installing. Installing successfully done. It comes when I try to launch matlab! matlab: 1: exec: /media/nik/DATA/ubuntufiles/Matlab2015/bin/glnxa64/MATLAB: Permission denied

Did you sudo in order to do the install? If not then the permissions might not have been set correctly.

maybe not. But I can't make chmod command for give permissions , this just not give the result. I find that problem may be in installation at mounted drive, but I mount it with exec permission and it not works again.

Hello, I 've install matlab successfully but when lauching it, it ask me for mathworks authentification, then "MATLAB is selecting SOFTWARE OPENGL rendering." and it doesn't get launched.
Please if anyone have solution for this probleme. gnlxa64 is installed in MAtlab/system/opengn so i don't have any ideia.

What kind of graphics card do you have? What OpenGL version does it support.
