Sergey N. Makaroff earned his BS/MS/PhD/DrSci degrees at St. Petersburg State University, Russian Fed., Department of Mathematics. In 2000 he joined the Faculty of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA where he became a full professor in 2008. Since 2018, he has also been a part-time Faculty of A. A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston MA. His research is in modeling human body interactions with electromagnetic fields, for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Dr. Makarov has authored three books and holds a number of patents.
