VRmagic offers a wide range of cameras for machine vision applications. The product portfolio extends from USB components such as external analog-digital converters and FPGA cameras through to programmable, intelligent cameras that run on an autonomous Linux operating system. For 3D applications, VRmagic supplies multi-sensor cameras with up to four offset, pixel-synchronous image sensors and 3D area sensors which provide ready-calculated 3D data records for machine vision.
The VRmagic adapter allows using all VRmagic imaging devices (intelligent cameras and USB cameras) in MATLAB© or Simulink© via Image Acquisition Toolbox™. The adapter is based on VRmagic’s camera interface-independent API (VRmUsbCam) and permits access to all camera parameters as well as the raw sensor data. Users can also define a read-out ROI and switch between free-running and triggered recording modes. The supported operating systems are Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP (32-bit versions) and the supported MathWorks releases are R2007b or higher.
