The Smart Inverter Target Platform is a series of fully programmable power electronics inverters that enable engineers to rapidly prototype new power conversion algorithms and test them directly against real hardware (motors, power grid, etc.). The platform consists of a powerful signal processing unit that interfaces with the switches of one or more inverter stages. Engineers can download their control algorithms (vector control or other) onto the processor and test them against the hardware under test. The platform enables engineers to dramatically shorten test and development cycles.

Using Simulink Coder, users can download MATLAB and Simulink diagrams directly onto the Smart Inverter Target Platform. In external mode, users can monitor and debug running applications.
