  • Antje Dittmer, a senior technical consultant, has a background in control engineering and optimization. She worked on testing, simulation, and optimization of online display advertisement algorithms in the research departments of Yahoo! and AOL. Prior to that, she worked on helicopter control designs as a research engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Antje holds a M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg (TUHH).

  • Nick Howes is a technical consultant at MathWorks headquarters. Nick specializes in application development in MATLAB, drawing on experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization. Prior to joining MathWorks, he worked at Shell International Exploration and Production, developing novel analytics and numerical models to characterize subsurface geology in cases where it is under-resolved in seismic data. He also collaborated with MathWorks on the development of the MATLAB Interface for Petrel. Nick earned a B.A. and an M.A. in Earth Sciences from Boston University, and is a member of the American Geophysical Union.

  • Nicolas Schmit is a technical consultant who focuses on data analytics and physical modeling. He worked at the IHI Corporation, where he researched and designed systems for health monitoring of gas turbines and predictive maintenance of jet engines. He worked as an intern at Thales Alenia Space on the robust control of fuel sloshing in telecom satellites during orbit transition. He studied mechanical engineering and applied mathematics at the Ecole Polytechnique, and space system and control engineering at the ISAE-SUPAERO, where he earned masters' degrees. He holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Analytics Professional from The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences.
