Cpp.BinaryExpressionOperator Class
Namespace: Cpp
Superclasses: AstNodeProperties
Represents the binary_expression_operator nodes in the syntax tree of your code
Since R2026a
Description
BinaryExpressionOperator class represents the C++ syntax node binary_expression_operator in your code and contains predicates to query properties and children of this node.
Predicates
| Type | Raisable | Printable |
|---|---|---|
BinaryExpressionOperator
| Yes | No |
This class defines these predicates that act on the objects of this class. In addition, objects of this class can access the predicates defined by the base class AstNodeProperties. An object of this class is an object of AstNodeProperties class.
| Predicates | Description |
|---|---|
is(required BinaryExpressionOperator &op)
|
Finds syntax nodes representing binary expression operators in your C/C++ code and returns them
as op. A BinaryExpressionOperator corresponds to the operator
token used in a binary expression (for example, +, &&,
or ||).
|
isa(Cpp.Node.Node node)
|
Checks if node is a BinaryExpressionOperator. Use this relation
if you want to negate the condition (for example:
not Cpp.BinaryExpressionOperator.isa(n)).
|
cast(Cpp.Node.Node node, required BinaryExpressionOperator &cast)
|
Finds syntax nodes of the type BinaryExpressionOperator from the nodes in
node. Retrieval occurs if node is compatible with the
BinaryExpressionOperator type. Use this relation if you need further
BinaryExpressionOperator properties.
|
logicalOperator(BinaryExpressionOperator self, Lang.Int &precLevel)
|
Matches logical binary operators (for example, && or ||)
and returns their operator precedence level in precLevel.
|
bitwiseOperator(BinaryExpressionOperator self, Lang.Int &precLevel)
|
Matches bitwise binary operators (for example, &, |,
^, <<, or >>) and returns their
operator precedence level in precLevel.
|
comparisonOperator(BinaryExpressionOperator self, Lang.Int &precLevel)
|
Matches comparison operators (for example, ==, <,
>, or <=>) and returns their operator precedence level
in precLevel.
|
arithmeticOperator(BinaryExpressionOperator self, Lang.Int &precLevel)
|
Matches arithmetic binary operators (for example, +, -,
*, or /) and returns their operator precedence level in
precLevel.
|
parentExpression(BinaryExpressionOperator self, Cpp.Node.Node &op)
|
Finds the parent binary expression node that owns this operator and returns it as
op. For example, in a + b, this predicate relates the
+ operator to its enclosing binary expression.
