getServerStatus

Status of OPC UA server

Syntax

status = getServerStatus(uaClient)

Description

status = getServerStatus(uaClient) retrieves the status of the OPC UA server connected to UaClient. uaClient must be a scalar connected OPC UA client, not a vector of clients.

Retrieve Server Status of Connected OPC UA Client

Connect an OPC UA client and retrieve the status of its server.

Input Arguments

uaClient — OPC UA client

OPC UA client object

OPC UA client, specified as an OPC UA client object.

Example: getServerStatus(uaClient)

Output Arguments

status — Status of OPC UA server

structure

Status of OPC UA server, returned as a structure containing these fields:

Field name	Description
StartTime	Time the server started (MATLAB datetime)
CurrentTime	Current time on the server (MATLAB datetime)
State	State of the server (character vector)
BuildInfo	Structure describing the build information for the server, including ManufacturerName, ProductName, and SoftwareVersion
SecondsTillShutdown	If the server is shutting down, how long until shutdown occurs
ShutdownReason	Reason for the server shutdown, or an empty character vector
