R2026bGuideline descriptions are documented, using the following template. Companies that want to create additional guidelines are encouraged to use the same template.

| Release Information | Release in which the guideline was introduced. This is applicable only if it was introduced in the recent ten releases. Else, it will be mentioned in the Version History section. |
| Usage | Modeling standards the guideline adheres to. In this case, it is High-Integrity System Modeling. |

| Prerequisites | Links to guidelines that are prerequisites to this guideline (ID: Title) |
| Rules | Sub-ID specific descriptions with rationale for providing the guideline, verification containing links to check (if the check exists), and examples. |
