Register object in Model Advisor root

Syntax

register(MAobj, obj)


Description

register(MAobj, obj) registers the object, obj, in the root object MAobj.

In the Model Advisor memory, the register method registers the following types of objects:

• ModelAdvisor.Check

• ModelAdvisor.Task

The register method places objects in the Model Advisor memory that you use in other functions. The register method does not place objects in the Model Advisor tree.

Registering ModelAdvisor.FactoryGroup and ModelAdvisor.Group objects are not recommended. Create a folder for custom checks in the By Product folder by using the publish method. Then, use the Model Advisor Configuration Editor or Advisor.Config API for customizing the Model Advisor configuration.
