R2026bScale Factors block

To add a block to a model, double-click the canvas and start typing the block name. Then, select the block from the list.
Libraries:
Vehicle Dynamics Blockset /
Wheels and Tires
Description
The Scale Factors block creates the Magic Formula tire model scale factors, allowing you to set each factor as either a constant parameter or a dynamic input signal. Inputs must be scalars or vectors with length equal to the number of wheels. The output signal can be wired directly to the ScaleFctrs port of applicable tire blocks, enabling flexible integration of both fixed and time-varying scale factors.
Examples
Analyze Tire Stiffness Effects on Handling
Analyze the effect of tire lateral stiffness scale factors on vehicle handling using Vehicle Dynamics Blockset(TM) and the scale factors block.
