Command window sometimes disappears after maximizing editor

I would double click the editor to maximize it to have more space for debugging. After that, I double click the editor again to bring command window back. Occassionally, the command window just diseappered. Even if I chose to HOME-->Layout-->Default, the command windows is still missing.
This happens nearly every day, which is truly annoying. I only experienced this on windows11 using R2023a.

Happens to me on R2023b Windows 10 as well. It just randomly started happening one day. Command Window still doesn't show up when I go to Home > Environment > Layout and change the layout. Have to close and reopen Matlab every time. At first it only happened when I click on a link in the error stack (like the scenario described by Jan Brunner). Maybe I should just reinstall the app.
Edit: Uninstalled R2023b and reinstalled R2024a instead and seems to work so far.
Edit 2: One day later, problem is back...

@Xingwang Yong, @Jan Brunner, @Duncan L - I would suggest you to submit a (bug) report to TMW Technical Support via this link - Contact Support. Also, attach this thread alongside the query.
