I'm trying to use the optional command limitrate like in the following:
drawnow limitrate;
and am getting the following error every time:
I'm using matlab R2014b. Am I making a simple mistake or is limitrate no longer a valid command?

The 'limitrate' option for the drawnow function was introduced in release R2015a as documented by the first item in the Graphics section of the Release Notes for MATLAB in that release.

The online documentation is for R2016a, and limitrate is implemented in it. Check the documentation for your version if it’s earlier than the current version.
