I have a plot generated from experimental data, lets call it Plot A. How can I create a database of plots from reference data (Plot B, Plot C, Plot D,....) and use that database to "match" my experimental Plot A with the most "similar" plot (Plot B, Plot C, Plot D,....)?
Note: The X axis is identical in all plots (experimental and references), and the Y axis is varying. The Y axis of all plots (experimental and references) have identical scale (from 0 to 100).

Calculate RMS error...for which RMS error is less that data is closest to your experimental data.

Can you give me a flavor to the code that you might use for this line "for which error is less that data is closest to your experimental data." ?
