How to make a break in an axis?

80 views (last 30 days)
Hi everybody?
I would like to plot the eigenvalues of a matrix as follows:
plot(eig(A));
This works, however does anybody know how I can include a break in the real axis so that the figure plots from -15 to -10 and -5 to 0 with respect to the real axis?
Thank you in advance!
Nicolas

It is a good strategy to search in the forum before asking a question. You would find e.g. that this has been asked 3 hours before already: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/353921-how-to-make-a-break-on-the-x-axis .
There I have recommended to search in the FileExchange:
