How do you get pixel x, y coordinates on zoomed image?

I would like to get several coordinates (x, y) on image after zooming in and find a right area of interest interactively.

I am using Matlab 2017a and Image Processing Toolbox, and tried ginput, impixel and ginpts functions. None of them seems to allow for interactive zooming before picking a pixel.
