I'm getting the following error when I try to run the following code. How can i fix it??
Undefined function 'offsetstrel' for input arguments of type 'char'.
se = offsetstrel('ball',11,90);
BW1 = imdilate(binaryImage,se);
imshow(BW1);

It’s part of the Image Processing Toolbox, and has been around for at least a decade. If you have the Toolbox installed, you should have all the functions in your posted code.

the toolbox is installed but i don't know why it still giving that error.

You may have a corrupted path.
Run these from your Command Window or a script:
restoredefaultpath
rehash toolboxcache
Then try again. (You may have to close and restart MATLAB after this as well.)
If that fails to correct the problem, use the Contact Us link in the top right corner of this page, and request Tech Support. (Run the ver command first, since you will need that output.)

Didn't get any errors?
maybe try clear all and try again
>> se = offsetstrel('ball',11,90);
