I have made a thermal model for an electric actuator. However, my model seems to override my initial set temperature for the Harmonic drive block. I set the start temperature at 20 degC, but my gear seems to start at an elevated temperature anyway. Any suggestions to why this opccurs?

You can see that the gear starts at around 26 degC which is my problem.

Hi Kotryana,
As a first step, I would look at the Variable Viewer to see what is met and what is not. In the toolstrip, select Debug, Simscape, then Variable Viewer.
There may be too many variables defined with high priority. Typically focus on the differential variables.
