simulink 2020b is slow to handle

3 views (last 30 days)
I have simulink 2020b installed on two different computers, and on both computers it is significantly slower than other simulink versions.
One computer runs Nvidia, and the other has an AMD GPU.
By slower, I mean that the interaction with the UI (moving blocks around, copying blocks...) takes a while and is not instant.
Anyone else has this problem? any solutions found?
I cannot move to an older simulink version (working with colabirators)

Can you confirm if the latency is observed only for Simulink UI or for entire MATLAB product ?
Can you try the following and observe the latency ? :
  1. Open a new model and check for latency
  2. MATLAB App designer
  3. Command-line plotting and graphix from MATLAB
  4. Command line operations for simulink blocks

Me too, my simulink 2020b is also very slow wehn I try to modify my model. The speed is ok after I first open the simulation model, but after I run the simulation, it will become slow. So I have to use 2019b currently which is very fast.

After a long correspondence with my MATALB provider, he suggested I close the propety insepctor while modeling... and it worked!
