Enhanced Mycelium Network Optimization (EMNO) is a bio-inspired metaheuristic algorithm for continuous numerical optimization. It extends the original MNO with six enhancements — chaotic initialisation, energy-based besiege, differential evolution mutation, Lévy-based rapid dive, gated SCA perturbation, and adaptive restart — achieving high-precision convergence on unimodal, multimodal, and engineering design benchmark problems.
