PSFB Converter with ZVS Switching
PSFB Converter:
I have simulated a PSFB converter with soft switching (ZVS).
Switching Frequency (fs) = 100KHz.
Each leg is operated at a fixed frequency and a duty cycle of 50% (48% with dead band included).
The deadband for both legs are 120ns
the phase shift between the legs is 0.2*Ts (can be changed by changing the factor 0.2 in P3 and P4 generator blocks)
Before starting the simulation, the following variables need to be assigned:
C = 1e-11;
C_r = 0.001;
A = 10;
The output voltage is D*Vin where D is the duty of the primary voltage of the transformer (1:1 transformer is used).
Leakage inductance and magnetizing inductance are chosen as to satisfy the soft switching conditions.
Note: ZVS is not achieved at small loads but the Lr and Cr can be altered to get the desired soft switching conditions.
