  • Aerospace Toolbox – Design, analyze, and visualize space missions with high-fidelity orbit propagation, impulsive maneuvers, and lunar mission support.
  • Audio Toolbox – Model acoustic systems with Simscape; simulate sound propagation using ray-based methods in rooms and underwater acoustics; compute objective quality and intelligibility metrics.
  • Deep Learning Toolbox – Create and train time series prediction, forecasting, and regression models using the Time Series Modeler app.
  • Image Acquisition Toolbox – Support for GenICam 3D cameras with multipart and GenDC formats.
  • Point Cloud Toolbox– Design and analyze perception systems using point clouds from range sensors like lidar, RGB‑D and stereo cameras, and mmWave radar, and workflows like SLAM, photogrammetry, and structure from motion.
  • Simulink Design Verifier – Distribute design verifier analysis across multiple CPU cores to accelerate time‑to‑results; achieve higher‑precision results for models using floating‑point and complex math functions.
  • SoC Blockset (for AMD) – Design, deploy, and verify applications for AMD Adaptive SoCs and FPGAs; use default reference designs or build custom reference designs for comms, vision, deep learning, and controls applications.
  • Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox – Design and analyze experiments interactively with the new DOE app; assess measurement system variability and run ANOVA-based studies with the new Gage R&R app.

Release Highlights

MATLAB

  • TOML Project File Format: Manage projects in MATLAB and Simulink using a single, human-readable TOML configuration file.
  • MATLAB Package Management: Share and install packages through File Exchange.
  • App Designer: Save apps in plain text file format for use with source control.
  • Java: Install a compatible OpenJDK (including OpenJDK 25) to use your preferred Java runtime with MATLAB; MATLAB no longer includes Java.
  • MATLAB Desktop: Configure the desktop with more flexible layout options.
  • Command Window: Generate and display formatted text in the Command Window, using ANSI escape codes, Markdown text, and LaTeX equations.
  • Google Sheets: Read and write data using Google Sheets.
  • Timetable Data Type: Index timetables with numeric (double or single) row times in addition to datetime and duration vectors.
  • Performance: Key MATLAB data functions run faster for numeric and string arrays, tables, and timetables.

Simulink

  • Published Model: Create ready-to-run versions of Simulink models you can reference to skip rebuilds and improve simulation performance.
  • Simulink Data Dictionary: Save data dictionaries in plain text JSON files to facilitate source control diffs.
  • Simulation Data Inspector: Configure tabs when visualizing simulation data to organize your layout and customize views.
  • Conditional Hold Block: Use a single block to hold the value of an input signal based on a chosen conditional signal.
  • Simulink Profiler: Identify simulation bottlenecks faster with explanations of results and solver profile summaries generated with Simulink Copilot.
