Developing Autonomous Systems: Control Algorithms
Overview
Whether your robot flies, drives, swims, or manipulates, control algorithms are the essential component for putting your higher-level autonomy algorithms into action. In this seminar, you will learn how to design, tune, implement, and test a variety of control algorithms – all using MATLAB and Simulink.
Highlights
- Implementing controllers for path following and trajectory generation
- Tuning and verifying performance of traditional low-level actuator controllers (such as PID)
- Exploring modern control methods, such as model predictive control and reinforcement learning
Who Should Attend
Engineers and researchers working on autonomous systems or components, for example: roboticists, controls engineers, embedded software engineers, flight software engineers, systems engineers.
About the Presenter
Julia Brault received a B.S. and M.S. from Northeastern University in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in mechanical design and mechatronic systems. She is a Senior Application Engineer focusing on robotics and automated systems who joined MathWorks 8 years ago in 2017.
