Principal Software Engineer - Linux Deployment
We seek a versatile engineer to join our team and contribute towards developing and deploying world class software products.
You will be responsible for developing LINUX libraries and services for x86 and ARM architectures. You will develop innovative features that deploy MATLAB/Simulink generated code on LINUX OS running on cloud or on dedicated hardware.
As a principal software engineer working on core features of Simulink, you will be responsible for all stages of software development including requirements specifications, design, architecture, implementation, and testing.
You will work with cross functional teams including user experience specialists to help design and implement a comprehensive tool based on customer workflows.
You will leverage your communication and inter-personal skills working closely with a cross-functional team to deliver high quality features.
- A bachelor's degree and 12 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.
- Experience with C++
- Experience in LINUX/POSIX packages and middlewares (AUTOSAR, DDS, ROS).
- Very good algorithmic and software design skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience with common design patterns and idioms
- Programming experience in graphical user interfaces is a plus
- Good communication and organizational skills
